Yash Bhatt’s journey to founding Crazy Lad Animation Studio is one of courage and reinvention. Armed with an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Nirma University, Yash excelled academically and professionally, being the only student to secure a Junior Research Fellowship and doubling his stipend within a year. However, his true calling lay beyond the boundaries of engineering—in the creative world of animation.
While working in an animation team, Yash faced a defining moment when the company announced layoffs affecting 50% of its staff. Despite being assured of his job security, he made the bold decision to resign and follow his dream of creating something of his own. This pivotal moment became the foundation of Crazy Lad Animation Studio.

Yash Bhatt is a dynamic individual whose journey from engineering to entrepreneurship showcases his creativity, determination, and drive to build something extraordinary. With a strong technical foundation and a knack for visualization, Yash has turned his passion for animation into a thriving business. The Journey
Yash envisioned building a service company that would eventually develop its Intellectual Property (IP). However, the journey was not easy. It took nearly a year to understand the market and an additional two years to identify a niche. Crazy Lad Animation Studio eventually carved its space with two primary verticals:

- Creative Animation: Advertisements, cartoon series, mascot development, and CGI ads.
- Technical Animation: Visualizations of manufacturing processes, pharmaceutical workflows, and medical innovations.
The Philosophy

Turning Struggles into Success
The road to success was challenging. For two years, Yash faced difficulties breaking into the competitive animation industry. Persistence finally paid off when Green Gold Animations—the creators of Chhota Bheem—offered his studio an animation test for their series Rudra. Yash and his team passed, earning their first major project from the same company where he began his animation career.
This milestone marked a full-circle moment for Yash, validating his decision to start his own venture.

Yash envisions Crazy Lad Animation Studio as Ahmedabad’s first full-fledged animation production house, equipped with strong intellectual properties. His goal is to revolutionize India’s animation industry by creating compelling stories that captivate audiences and build trust in brands.
He believes animation is the ultimate tool for visualization, helping people understand and connect with complex ideas effortlessly.
