Recognizing this challenge, Dr. Megha Bhatt, a scientist, educator, and entrepreneur, envisioned a learning platform that would transform the way children discover the wonders of science.
Armed with a Ph.D. from ISRO and more than two decades of experience in research and education, Dr. Megha Bhatt had spent years observing how traditional education emphasized rote learning over curiosity. While India had tuition classes focusing on academics and a handful of science centers offering demonstrations, very few platforms successfully combined conceptual understanding with practical application. The inspiration became even more personal while teaching her own son and interacting with children around her. She noticed that many students could perform experiments after watching videos online, yet they struggled to explain the scientific principles behind them.
Determined to change this, she founded SciKnowTech, a pioneering experiential science learning platform built on a simple yet powerful philosophy: “Exposure Leads to Exploration, and Exploration Leads to Innovation.”
Transforming this vision into reality required nearly ten months of planning, curriculum development, and designing learning experiences that would go beyond conventional classroom teaching. Rather than treating science as another academic subject, SciKnowTech introduced a completely immersive learning model where every concept is experienced before it is memorized.
Today, SciKnowTech offers year-long science programmes for students from Grade 2 to Grade 9, combining classroom learning with audio-visual content, model-making, hands-on experiments, storytelling, creative activities, field visits, and interactions with subject experts. Every lesson is carefully designed to encourage children to ask questions, think critically, and develop a genuine love for scientific discovery. Beyond its academy, the organization also conducts workshops in schools, teacher training programmes, science clubs, CSR initiatives, DIY science kits, and even science-themed birthday celebrations, making science engaging in every possible environment.
What truly distinguishes SciKnowTech is the expertise behind its curriculum. With Dr. Megha Bhatt’s scientific background and research experience complemented by the marketing and branding expertise of co-founder Mr. Saleel Bhatt, the organization has created a holistic ecosystem where education meets innovation. Small batch sizes, carefully designed learning modules, and a passion-driven teaching approach ensure that every child receives personalized attention while developing scientific temperament and analytical thinking.
The journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Leaving the security of a professional career to build an entrepreneurial venture required courage, while assembling a team equally passionate about experiential education demanded persistence. Despite these challenges, SciKnowTech has grown steadily from a small home-based initiative in 2014 with just a handful of children to an established educational brand. Today, it has conducted more than 500 workshops, trained over 70 teachers, enrolled 125+ students in its year-long programmes, and introduced experiential science learning to more than 25,000 children across schools, villages, and educational institutions.
Its innovative approach has also earned prestigious recognitions, including Digital Woman 2017 (Disruption), Gujarat Innovation Society Trendsetter Award, and recognition at the National Startup & Innovation Summit. These achievements reflect the growing impact of SciKnowTech’s mission to make science meaningful and enjoyable for every learner.
Looking ahead, SciKnowTech aims to become India’s leading experiential science education platform by expanding its presence across cities, strengthening teacher training programmes, introducing virtual learning modules, and partnering with educational institutions nationwide. The vision extends far beyond creating better students—it seeks to nurture a generation of curious thinkers, confident problem-solvers, and future innovators.
