VIAMS carried the proud legacy of four Generations in traditional Ayurveda healthcare. We have established in 1972 as a Vaidyasala (traditional health clinic) in a serene village – Mezhathur – Palakkad, Kerala. We are blessed to be here & nestled because, the place Mezhathur itself has a legacy and history of Ayurveda practice. VIAMS is admired for providing holistic treatment based on Ayurveda with the integration of Allied Healthcare Techniques – Physiotherapy, Yoga & Meditation, Psychology, Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology, Nutrition & Dietetics, etc. and so to lead a healthy and Peaceful life with Ayurveda. The institute was established in 1972 by Dr. K. V. Vijayan, as a Vaidyasala, believing in the holistic treatment of ailments without inflicting any side effects. The Vaidyasala followed the 5000 years old discipline of Ayurveda, ancient wisdom of healing and longevity, which is transformed as VIAMS (Dr. K.V. Vijayan Institute of Ayurveda Medical Science)
