How many people do you know who made the wildest of their dreams come true through sheer dedication and discipline?. This Young Entrepreneur, Sales trainer, IT consultant, and the author is one of those who walk miles to quench the thrust of success. Vandit Shah is an exemplary youth, based in Ahmedabad but known throughout the country and abroad for his work.

“The dusk is dim-lit, doesn’t mean the whole day will be dull as well.”

– TANISHKA PATIDAR

Vandit’s family had limited financial support. He needed to be the breadwinner of the family from a very young age. When he was in 12th grade, he started hunting for work and got a full-time job in a call center.

“Many people think that such jobs teach you nothing and aren’t significant when it comes to career compass. I think every work teaches you something. You have to keep an unbiased perspective and keep accepting the offerings.”

Vandit states that he learned his forte skill in the call centre – communication.

“Listening and speaking are two wheels that carry communication. A lot of us only speak their opinion, which at one point is boasting and not speaking. Listening lets you read the mind of the other person, why would you want to lose that chance? “

Vandit teaches skills to professionals who have been to B schools, irony being – he never went to college himself. “I don’t have a degree, never went to college. Which is why I was denied jobs I could do and were offered to those who had fewer skills than me.”

Today, the same companies invite him to facilitate marketing training for their employees. Now if this isn’t irony at it’s best then what is?. Vandit teaches professionals and has personal students also, sharing the wisdom he acquired through experience.

His book, You Gotta Close the Deal is a collection of techniques and strategies crucial in sales and marketing. There comes another extraordinary effort. The book is in English and Vandit couldn’t speak a word of English when he graduated from school.

“My school taught in Gujarati, I didn’t go to college so English and I never met. I learned the language by hearing other people speak it. I caught and understood the words and taught myself exactly how a kid does”. His book is selling amazingly on Amazon in and out of India. It’s for anyone who wishes to improve their convincing power and charm.

Despite several demotivating comments from family and relatives, Vandit quit his job and started his venture. It provides marketing and sales-related services to firms and assists with business solutions as well.  He now undertakes projects from reputed firms as well.

For his remarkable growth and achievements in his work field, he got honored by the ‘Young Entrepreneur Award’ in 2019. He motivates youth and fellow entrepreneurs through his Instagram. He shares motivational quotes and sales tips there, laced in simple words.

Vandit is a true inspiration for today’s generation the Young Entrepreneur, who took his fate in his hands and shaped it how he wished. When he was deprived of opportunities, he created them for himself. This is a sign of strong and passionate people. Adjusting with career choices is giving up, try giving fully!
