7th April 2024 – Ahmedabad: Bindiya, a distinctive culinary destination to celebrate and relish traditional cuisine all curated by mothers and grandmothers, conceptualized by DeenpalRai, was inaugurated today at Bhat Ahmedabad.
The grand launch of Bindiya was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff – MD & CEO of Kalorex Group, retired IAS officer Dr. S.K Nanda, retired IFS officer Shri Mahesh Singh, along with various dignitaries &esteemed guests.
Bindiya is not only a unique dining destination where guests can relish traditional recipes from various states across India; it also offers a platform for home chefs, to showcase their culinary talent and share their expertise. In addition, Bindiya also ensures affordability without compromising on authenticity, using premium ingredients while upholding stringent hygiene standards.
Mr. Deenpal Rai, CMD Guston Hospitality, Founder member of ‘Bindiya’ commented, “Bindiya, is the first step of females adorning themselves with 16 shringaar, the application of sandalwood or kumkum between eyebrows activates our pineal gland, the third eye, seat of our instinctive development. Thus, ‘Bindiya’ is a step taken for revival of our cultural heritage; our biggest strength both in terms of food and practices, which is nonetheless majorly preserved by women, our first institution. ‘Bindiya’ is a responsible collaborative restaurant- café to honor the creative abilities of women.”
“We are also a socially responsible organization hence we have devised a CSR plan, termed as the 3rd eye, 3 + 3 initiative, every month we will support young and old alike. Three young girls and three senior citizen women will be provided financial assistance for education and medical help”, Added Mr. Rai.
