Viktor was born on the 13th of October 1948 in Magnitogorsk, the Chelyabinsk Region of Russia. Also, Viktor received a degree in Metal forming process in 1974, from the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. In the year 1994, he earned a second degree in Organization of Product Administration.
Viktor Rashnikov Early Career
Viktor worked as a fitter for the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in 1967. Dedicated and hardworking, he became the shop superintendent and eventually, Head Administration and Shipments. By the year 1991, he was the Chief Engineer and the First Deputy General Director of MMK.
Viktor Rashnikov Heights
In the year 1992, MML became a publicly-traded company. Viktor owned 100% shares of the company. He handles the steel production and technical innovation in MMK. Under his leadership, the company constructed a specialized mill to produce steel plates used in oil gas, bridges, and machine-building sectors. MMK is the third-largest steel producer in Russia.
Viktor has served four times in the legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk. He is the chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Chelyabinsk. But Viktor is a part of the management of the Bureau of Russia Union of Industrialists.
Viktor Rashnikov Personal Life
Viktor built for himself a 140-meter Italian yacht Ocean Victory in 2014. His passion for sports is evident in MML being the major sponsor of the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia. Viktor Rashnikov is the present of the Metallurg Magnitogorsk Hockey Team.
