INTRODUCTION

I am Saiyad Shamim Raza, Director at A1 Skills and Technical Training Center Pvt. Ltd. With over 28 years of experience in project management, training, and organizational development, I have had the privilege of working on projects of all sizes and complexities. From small-scale initiatives to multi-million-dollar projects, my expertise has enabled me to successfully manage a wide range of ventures. My professional journey has also seen me focusing heavily on learning and development, program management, staff training, and designing effective training curriculums that lead to measurable improvements in performance.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating and delivering training programs that foster growth both for individuals and organizations. To date, I have trained over 4,000 people, including senior executives, middle management, and field staff. In addition to my work with private companies, I’ve also had the honor of being an official trainer for North Delhi Power Ltd. (Tata Power) and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, a government-owned company in Dubai, UAE.

My educational background includes a degree in Computer Science & IT and an ITIL Foundation certification, which has been instrumental in shaping my approach to business and training development. Over the years, I have received numerous awards and recognition for my contributions to the field of training and development, both at national and international levels. My passion for training excellence has solidified my reputation as a top-tier training provider and curriculum developer.

In April 2024, I embarked on a new chapter in my career by founding A1 Skills & Technical Training Center Pvt. Ltd. My vision is straightforward: to provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality skill development and training to young learners and professionals. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI, I am currently developing courses in personality development, soft skills, and technical training that are specifically tailored to both individuals and corporates. With decades of industry experience, I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and helping others navigate the path to successful careers while avoiding many of the challenges I faced earlier in my journey.

CHALLENGES

In today’s rapidly evolving job market, one of the most significant challenges faced by young professionals is the gap between the skills required by industries and those possessed by job seekers. Despite the availability of numerous educational resources, the disconnect between what industries demand and what educational institutions provide continues to be a major hurdle to employability and career growth.

Many young learners complete their education with theoretical knowledge but lack the practical, job-ready skills that are crucial in the workplace. This skills gap restricts their ability to find meaningful employment, even though there may be plenty of job opportunities available in various industries. Compounding this issue is the lack of affordable training solutions that address the real-world needs of both employers and employees.

For many professionals, particularly those starting their careers or looking to change fields, there is an overwhelming scarcity of practical training programs that are both accessible and affordable. This lack of affordable, high-quality training can stifle career growth and limit access to career development opportunities. These challenges have driven me to found A1 Skills with a mission to bridge this gap and empower individuals with the practical, industry-relevant skills they need to succeed.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Although A1 Skills & Technical Training Center Pvt. Ltd. is a relatively new organization, having been founded in 2024, we have already made significant strides in establishing our presence in the skill development space. From the beginning, our goal has been to deliver high-quality, accessible training programs that can benefit individuals and organizations alike. Here are some of the key achievements we’ve accomplished in our early stages:

• Registration with Government Programs: A1 Skills has been successfully registered with the Government of India’s Start-up Program, MSME, and other regulatory bodies. These registrations validate our legitimacy and align our mission with the broader objectives of the Indian government in promoting skill development and entrepreneurship.
  
• Launch of a Full-Fledged LMS: We have developed and launched a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS)-based website that integrates an online platform with a secure payment gateway, making it easier for learners to access our training programs. The LMS enables a seamless learning experience, allowing users to track their progress, access course materials, and interact with instructors.
  
• Training Program Launches: Since our inception, we have launched over 11 training programs, covering topics such as soft skills, technical training, and personality development. These programs have been designed to address the growing demand for specific skill sets that enhance professional competence.
  
• 500+ Training Sessions Conducted: We have successfully conducted over 500 training sessions, benefiting a wide range of professionals. These sessions have received positive feedback from participants, with many praising the practical approach and real-world applicability of our courses.
  
• Global Reach: Our online training programs have been made available to students and professionals in over five countries, expanding our global footprint and helping learners from diverse backgrounds access quality education.
