By Anjali Sharma
When I look back at the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, it does not start with boardrooms, investors or business planning documents. It begins in a much simpler moment — a mother sitting at her dining table, surrounded by school admission forms, dates and confusing guidelines, wondering why something as basic as securing a child’s admission had to be so stressful. I distinctly remember the sense of helplessness and frustration. That moment planted a seed that would later grow into something far bigger than I initially imagined.
At that time, I had already co-founded CodeFire Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with my partner, Pranjal Srivastava. We had never set out to build just another software company. For us, CodeFire was a philosophy — a belief that technology must be crafted with empathy, guided by clarity and rooted in real human needs. Pranjal brought deep technical and architectural expertise, while I brought a strong foundation in technology, a sharp operations mind and a commitment to building workplace culture where people felt respected, valued and supported.
A Mother’s Challenge That Turned Into a National Impact Story
While CodeFire was quietly earning the trust of global clients through disciplined delivery, something unexpected was happening at home. The school admission process for my son became overwhelming. Each school had different rules, different dates and an endless list of documents. Parents exchanged advice in hallways and online groups, yet everyone was equally confused. Most accepted it as something that could not be improved. I did not.
Where others saw an unfixable system, I saw a pattern that could be structured and an experience that could be simplified. If technology could solve complex business challenges, why couldn’t it solve this everyday parental struggle?
This led to the birth of SchoolAdmissionIndia.com.
I built it first as a mother and then as a technologist — step by step, feature by feature. The platform was free, unbiased and simple. It collected admission dates, documentation requirements, processes and updates from schools and displayed them clearly on a single platform. What began as a personal solution soon reached parents across Delhi–NCR, and eventually more than 200,000 families used it to navigate admissions without panic.
Messages began pouring in from parents who no longer missed deadlines, from mothers who finally felt confident during the process, and from fathers who said the platform removed stress from a crucial decision. National publications covered the journey, including The Hindu, YourStory, The Story Exchange, Zee TV, Outlook Business and The Wall Street Journal. One headline called me “the mom who helped tens of thousands navigate the toughest admission maze.” For me, the most meaningful part of this moment was the validation of a belief I had always held: real innovation is born from lived problems, not from abstract ideas.
CodeFire – A Partnership of Genius and Grit
Meanwhile at CodeFire, the experience with SchoolAdmissionIndia reinforced what we had always believed as founders. Technology means little if it does not make life better. CodeFire became known not only for high-quality engineering but also for the integrity, craftsmanship and transparency with which it delivered solutions. We built large platforms, mobile applications, AI and ML-based systems, and big-data solutions for clients worldwide.
Under my operational leadership, CodeFire received the Best Web Development Company in Uttar Pradesh (2018) award. But for me, recognition was secondary. True satisfaction came from watching young developers grow into confident professionals, seeing teams take ownership and witnessing clients experience relief when technology finally worked the way they needed it to.
CodeDeepAI – Making AI Accessible, Ethical and Human-Centric
As the world shifted toward artificial intelligence, I could clearly sense that AI would reshape every industry and every career. I did not want to observe the shift from the sidelines – I wanted to help shape it responsibly.
This led to the creation of CodeDeep AI Pvt. Ltd.

We built CodeDeepAI with a grounded mission: to make AI accessible, ethical and truly useful. AI should not stay limited to large enterprises. It should support small businesses, educational institutions, social ventures, healthcare facilitators and communities that need technology but cannot afford expensive solutions. At CodeDeepAI, we built intelligent AI agents, automation products, workflow accelerators and low-cost tools that help organizations work faster and smarter.
Our philosophy was simple: AI must elevate human dignity, not replace it.
This belief guided every product we built.
Xolvai – Preparing Humans for an AI-Driven Future
While the world built AI products, very few focused on preparing people for AI. We saw that gap clearly. Professionals across industries needed guidance to reskill and stay relevant. So we launched Xolvai.com, a learning platform that translated CodeDeepAI’s AI knowledge into practical, industry-usable programs. Xolvai became a bridge for engineers, managers and entrepreneurs trying to grow in an AI-first world.
SukoonHer – A Platform for Women Who Carry Invisible Loads
Even while building two technology ventures, another truth stayed close to my heart — the emotional wellbeing of women, especially in midlife. I had seen women balancing careers, children, parents, households and expectations with strength, while silently neglecting their own emotional needs. I wanted to build something for them.
That vision led to SukoonHer – an AI-powered emotional support platform for women in midlife. It offers compassionate conversational support, personalised wellbeing insights and coping tools. Above everything, it offers a safe space — because strong women need rest too.
Leadership Rooted in Empathy
Across all my ventures, one belief remains constant: build people, and they will build everything else. Culture is not a poster on the wall; it is reflected in mentorship, in how juniors are treated, and in how mistakes become learning opportunities rather than punishments. I often remind myself that great leaders do not create followers — they create leaders.
Recognition and Impact
Recognition has come naturally – Top Women Entrepreneur in India, Woman of Worth awards, features in CEO Insights and SiliconIndia, national and international media coverage, ATL Mentor of Change under NITI Aayog and active contribution to the StartUp Punjab ecosystem. I have mentored more than a hundred young professionals, guiding many toward opportunities that changed their careers. But if you ask what I am proudest of, I will not speak about awards. I will speak about the people whose belief in themselves changed because someone believed in them first.
Behind the Leader – The Woman
Behind the professional identity is a woman deeply committed to her family. My life is not a perfectly balanced scale; it is a rhythm. I know what it feels like to brainstorm product strategy while stirring dinner, to shift from board meetings to bedtime stories, to blend ambition with love and responsibility.
Looking Ahead
As the future accelerates through AI, my mission is to ensure that speed does not leave humanity behind. I want advanced technology to be a shared advantage, not a privilege. I want learning platforms like Xolvai to empower professionals across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. And I want emotional-wellbeing solutions like SukoonHer to stand proudly beside business technologies, reminding the world that growth without wellbeing is incomplete.
My Message to Women
To every woman building her path – confidence does not come first; courage does. You do not need permission to grow. It is possible to nurture both ambition and family, each in your own rhythm. Ask for help without guilt. Strength is not doing everything alone; strength is knowing when to rest and when to rise again. Invest in learning and financial independence, because capability is power.
In the end, I believe that a woman’s strength is not measured by how much she carries, but by how gracefully she rises, again and again.
