I am Ekta Jain, an entrepreneur and fashion business owner, leading multiple fashion brands under Flavia Creation. My brands include LabelFlavia.com, specializing in co-ord sets, night suits, dresses, and women’s shirts; PlusSizeByFlavia.com, dedicated to plus-size ethnic wear like Kurtis; and LuxeByFlavia.com, offering sarees and handbags. Beyond fashion, my mission is to empower uneducated women by providing them with opportunities to earn and support their families. We create handbags using fabric waste from our garment production, ensuring sustainability while promoting women’s financial independence.

Flavia Creation encompasses several brands, including Label Flavia, LuxeByFlavia, PlusSizeByFlavia, and Label Fushia. We are working towards consolidating all our brands under one unified platform while expanding into kids’ wear, jewelry, and home decor. Additionally, we are preparing to launch international websites to extend our global reach.

Currently, I operate a Label Flavia retail store in Patna, with another store opening in Mumbai by mid-March. Our goal is to establish 50 franchise stores in the next three years. With a strong business vision, we aim to launch an IPO worth ?100 crore by 2029. We have already achieved ?24 crore in revenue this year, targeting ?35 crore next year and ?50 crore the following year. Our brand ranks among the top 10 for co-ord sets on Myntra and top 5 in Jaipur for the same category.

My journey started humbly, from a small room and a ?12,000 salary, selling fashion products on various marketplaces. Balancing motherhood, household responsibilities, and business was challenging, especially with my six-month-old daughter. However, with perseverance, my family’s support, and my husband’s motivation, I grew my business step by step. Today, I stand as a successful businesswoman, dedicated to expanding Flavia Creation while inspiring others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

Educational Background and Early Challenges

I completed B.Com, a Company Secretary (CS) degree, and LLB from Rajasthan University. My education was filled with challenges and determination. During my final year of LLB, I was pregnant, which made attending exams extremely difficult. Despite facing health issues, household responsibilities, and my mother-in-law’s eye operation, I stayed committed to my studies. This experience taught me perseverance and time management, shaping me into the entrepreneur I am today.

The Birth of Entrepreneurship

The idea of starting my own business came when I was working at Veto Switchgears and Cables Limited. After my maternity leave, I rejoined work when my daughter was just six months old. Managing a full-time job became difficult, so I switched to a part-time role, but it wasn’t financially sustainable.

Realizing the need for financial independence while being there for my child, I started researching online businesses. Using my savings, I began selling fashion products on marketplaces. Within six months, my business gained stability, allowing me to quit my job and focus entirely on my brand. This decision changed my life and led me to build a successful fashion enterprise.

Business Expansion and Achievements

Flavia Creation is headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Our business primarily caters to customers across India through our online platforms and retail stores. We are also expanding our presence with franchise stores in multiple cities and have plans to launch international websites to reach a global audience.

Our competitive strengths include:

Wide Range of Fashion Categories: From western wear to ethnic wear and accessories.
Sustainability & Women Empowerment: Employment for underprivileged women through upcycled handbags.
Strong Market Presence: Among the top 10 for co-ord sets on Myntra and top 5 in Jaipur.
Growing Offline & Online Presence: Multiple e-commerce websites and physical stores.
Visionary Growth Plan: Expanding to 50 franchise stores and a ?100 crore IPO by 2029.

Overcoming Challenges

Balancing motherhood, career, and business was my biggest challenge. Initially, I had to learn everything from scratch, managing sales, marketing, and logistics. The emotional stress, financial pressure, and physical exhaustion were overwhelming, but I persevered with my family’s support. Over time, my business grew, allowing me to delegate tasks and focus on expansion.

In the next 10 years, I envision Flavia Creation as a globally recognized fashion and lifestyle brand with hundreds of franchise stores.
