During the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to adapt to technological advances and transition her classes online. This shift to virtual teaching required learning new skills such as conducting classes on platforms like Zoom and managing soft copies of tests.

Maths Academy faced several challenges along its journey of providing quality education:
- In the initial days, Prachi Govil, the founder, had to cope with long hours of teaching. She would teach continuously at one center from 2:30-6:00 pm and then rush to another center, located 5 kilometers away, to teach from 6:30-8:30 pm. Although the dedication was rewarding, it also took a toll on her physical and mental well-being.
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, the education industry suffered a setback, and Maths Academy was no exception. They had to swiftly adapt to online teaching resources and platforms. Conducting classes on platforms like Zoom, utilizing PowerPoint presentations, and managing the logistics of correcting soft copies of tests presented new challenges. The transition to online teaching demanded learning new skills and adjusting teaching methods to effectively engage students remotely.
- Another ongoing challenge for Maths Academy was finding and hiring qualified staff. While many individuals hold the necessary degrees, not all possess the ability to effectively teach and communicate complex mathematical concepts. Identifying individuals with both academic qualifications and teaching skills required careful consideration and evaluation.
- Despite facing stiff competition from existing coaching classes, Maths Academy aimed to differentiate itself by focusing on excellence and delivering outstanding results. Establishing a unique identity became crucial to attracting students and retaining their trust.
- Additionally, marketing posed a significant challenge, particularly in the era of prevalent social media platforms. Creating awareness about the coaching class and effectively reaching the target audience required a strategic approach to marketing. Developing a comprehensive marketing strategy, leveraging various channels, and crafting compelling messaging became essential in attracting students.
