Early Life & Education
Roshni grew up in Malhipur, a small town in Begusarai district of Bihar. Her childhood was shaped by simplicity, strong family values, and a deep sense of responsibility. Growing up in a close-knit environment taught her empathy, discipline, and resilience qualities that would later define both her leadership style and her entrepreneurial vision.
Academically, Roshni was consistently among the top students. She displayed early leadership traits, taking initiative in group activities and showing a natural ability to organise, guide, and collaborate. Her curiosity and problem-solving mindset eventually led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT). Engineering further strengthened her analytical thinking, discipline, and ability to approach complex problems in a structured way.
The Spark to Build
While pursuing engineering, Roshni founded a technical society called “Vision.” What began as a small group of nine members gradually grew into a vibrant community of over 50 participants. Building and scaling this society exposed her to leadership, innovation, and teamwork at a very early stage.
Managing people, aligning diverse ideas, and creating momentum around a shared purpose gave her a first-hand experience of what it meant to build something from the ground up. Though she did not label it entrepreneurship at the time, the seeds were clearly planted Roshni had discovered the joy and responsibility of creating impact through collective effort.
Professional Journey
Roshni went on to spend more than 17 years building a strong corporate career, working with global organisations such as Amazon, J.P. Morgan, and PayPal. In these roles, she worked on large-scale, secure, and customer-centric systems, gaining deep exposure to operational excellence, technology, and process design.
Her corporate journey shaped her product mindset, attention to detail, and ability to build solutions that are both scalable and reliable. It also gave her a clear understanding of how systems, when designed thoughtfully, can simplify lives and enable people to focus on higher-value work.
Birth of Serve U Better
In October 2025, Roshni began building Serve U Better in Bengaluru. The idea was simple yet deeply powerful to support working families, especially women, by providing reliable, respectful, and dignified home-care services.
Roshni observed that while women were increasingly stepping into leadership roles and ambitious careers, the lack of dependable care systems at home often held them back. Serve U Better was conceived as a solution to this invisible barrier a platform that could take care of essential home and family needs so women could focus on their aspirations without constant worry.

Roshni’s journey was not without challenges. She faced repeated failures during her engineering entrance journey, experiences that taught her perseverance and self-belief. Later, she made the bold decision to choose entrepreneurship with just two years of formal work experience an uncertain and risky move that required courage and conviction.
Each setback strengthened her resolve and clarified her purpose, shaping her into a leader who is comfortable navigating ambiguity.

The platform leverages artificial intelligence across critical touchpoints caregiver verification, intelligent demand supply matching, personalized care recommendations, and continuous quality monitoring. This creates a living, learning ecosystem that improves care outcomes, reduces operational friction, and strengthens trust across all stakeholders.
