My name is Ssonali Satpathy – Advocate, POSH & POCSO Specialist, Industrial Compliance Expert, Entrepreneur, Trainer, and a woman who built her own identity long before anyone believed she should. My story is not of overnight success; it is a story of reinvention, resilience, and a refusal to stay confined to what society expected.

I didn’t come from privilege, and I didn’t walk into entrepreneurship with a perfect blueprint. I began my journey humbly – running a small computer centre, freelancing, learning, unlearning – and eventually stepping into the world of law, workplace ethics, and compliance. What began as one small step transformed into a multi-vertical professional ecosystem known today as the SaSo Group:
Scoppe Widespread Pvt. Ltd. (SWPL), Justice Law Firm & Arbitration Centre, S-Square MultiBrand Products, S-Square Realties, and Smile & Let Smile Association (S.A.L.S.A.)

My academic path was equally unconventional.

From B.C.A., M.C.A. to LL.B., LL.M, specialising in women & child protection laws and workplace justice, I followed what aligned with purpose — not what fit conventional expectations.

The biggest realisation came while working closely with industries:

Organisations were suffering not because compliance was difficult – but because it was scattered.

POSH here.

Audits elsewhere.

Registrations from another consultant.

Legal advisory from someone else.

Documentation by another agency.

Everywhere I looked, businesses were navigating a maze.

So I decided to end the maze.

I built a single-window ecosystem where organisations get everything under one umbrella:

  • POSH & POCSO trainings and inquiries
  • Industrial compliance
  • Legal retainer & advisory
  • System implementation
  • Industrial certifications & audits
  • Workplace behaviour, soft skills & time management
  • Documentation
  • Mediation & Settlement
  • Arbitration

This wasn’t just a business idea – it was a structural solution industries desperately needed.

My toughest challenge wasn’t competition.

It was being taken seriously in a space dominated by hierarchy, age, and rigid mindsets.

People thought I was:

  • “too young,”
  • “too confident,”
  • “too ambitious,”
  • “too articulate,”
  • “too independent.”

But what they didn’t realise was that I was also:

too committed, too disciplined, too consistent – and too clear about my purpose to be ignored.

I rebuilt my identity through:

  • strong legal grounding
  • clarity in communication
  • discipline that doesn’t break
  • focus that doesn’t shake
  • and the courage to enter rooms where no one expected me

One of the most meaningful recognitions of my journey has been being named among Fox Story India’s Women Faces of the Year 2024 for my contribution to workplace justice and compliance transformation.

I have also expanded my influence through active roles in multiple communities:

  • BNI member (3 years)
  • Past President – Rotary Club of Silvassa
  • Active connections with Lions Club & Leo Club of Silvassa
  • State President (Women Wing), Lok Janshakti Party – DNH
  • Connected with industrial associations across Vapi, Valsad, Sarigam, Silvassa, Daman, Umbergaon
  • Part of associations for hotels, builders, transporters, CAs, doctors
  • Member – SheSplash Community
  • Franchise Partner – Super Power Alliance
  • Member – India DEI Community
  • Active in legal clubs & compliance forums

These networks built my administrative, industrial, and social understanding – and strengthened my voice as a professional leader.

The workplace is full of grey areas – unspoken behaviours, unclear expectations, half-understood laws, and invisible boundaries.

I don’t just interpret them.

I decode them.

I clarify them.

I turn them into structure.

My approach is practical, disciplined, and deeply rooted in real-world behaviour – not theory.

My ambition is unapologetically global.

I am building a brand that stands for:

  • POSH excellence
  • POCSO awareness
  • Workplace ethics & culture
  • Industrial discipline
  • Compliance transformation
  • Behavioural clarity
  • Legal accuracy

I aim to:

  • Establish a Centre of Excellence for POSH, POCSO, and workplace ethics
  • Create a Pan-India compliance ecosystem
  • Build a digital knowledge hub for industries and young professionals
  • Expand internationally for global trainings & consulting
  • And above all: Become a globally recognised and honoured brand in workplace ethics & compliance

Nothing in my story was handed to me.

I built myself – through clarity, consistency, courage, and the refusal to settle.

If there is one message in my story, it is this: You don’t have to come from a big background to build a big future – you just need the courage to start, the clarity to continue, and the consistency to grow.

My journey is still unfolding. And I’m far from done.
