The Venture: Aadyalakshmi Arangamela Private Limited, Chennai-47
The objective of the company is to promote Indian Classical Performing Art Forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiattam, Kathak, Carnatic/Hindustani vocals and instrumentals, etc.

To fulfil this objective, the company primarily identifies temples which are old and seldom visited. At the temple premises, the company offers a platform with event infrastructure facilities such as stage, lights, audio services, etc., for budding performing artists to show cause their talents.
The events, referred to as “Melas” are generally conducted on special or auspicious occasions like MahaShivaratri, Navaratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, New Year, etc. wherein heavy viewership is expected.

The Guru’s of all participating teams are honoured with a Title ‘Aadya Natya Mahamani’ and ‘Aadya Natya Shiromani’. The participants are honoured with a Title of ‘Aadya Natyamani’ for juniors and ‘Aadya Natya Ratna’ for seniors for their most valued contribution towards the divine art forms in their respective fields.

‘Project Paduka’ is an initiative by the venture inviting donations from onlookers to provide for footwear/chappals to few students of an economically backward school, once a year.

However, given the ongoing pandemic situation, the company did not trail behind and adapted to the situation by embracing technology tactics. Taking the help of the internet and online platforms, the company has successfully conducted 10 online/virtual Melas in the Facebook page of Aadyalakshmi Arangamela, over the last 2 years.
As on date, about 100 cultural academies and around 1000 artists from India and internationally, have participated in the company’s Melas, both On-stage and Online. These melas provide a rejuvenating and blissful occasion for the Gurus, participants, parents, Rasika’s and onlookers, that serves as ‘the Unique Selling Proposition’ of Aadyalakshmi Arangamela.

The company has been an award winner under the category of ‘India 500 Start-up Awards 2019-for Quality Excellence’ instituted by India 5000 Business Awards, Rajkot, Gujrat. The venture is honoured with ‘ Iconic Brand of the year – 2021’, by Blossom Media Private Limited, Mumbai.
