‘Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it. Make it happen!’ her parents lived their life by this and never ceased to quit, no matter what the situation or the circumstances. Despite coming from affluent backdrops, they both started with humble beginnings as a couple and gradually rose to glory with their endless toil and firm grit.
Personal life
Being brought up by two such dynamic individuals has been her highest honor as an individual. Right from her nascent years till she grew up to be a young girl, there wasn’t a single day when she hasn’t encouraged to go for her dreams. One day, it would take her trekking to a village to distribute sanitary kits the other day; From age 8, she taught her to recite stotras, shelter needy animals, dance as if there is no tomorrow, paint the canvas with her imagination. And develop the athlete in her, read voraciously, and be stronger than her strongest excuse. With her father accompanying her for walks even at minus 10 degrees to teaching her different meditation. She was never made to think like a ‘girl’ or have any limitations just because she is one.
About journey
Thus her journey started at 13 when she stepped out of her house for the first time to study at a boarding school. Despite her fundamentals being strong, she was extremely coy and couldn’t speak for herself. The very year she has created history by being nominated to lead the NCC Marching Contingent on Rajpath at New Delhi. However, every opportunity comes with its set of obstacles being the youngest leader ever nominated.
She has opposed by those who were awaiting the role and has mentally bruised to coax me to leave the position. It is your reaction to adversity, not adversity itself is that determines how your story will develop. Just like a phoenix rises from the ashes, she determined not to let her inhibitions engulf her. And started working single-mindedly on every aspect of her personality. And including the hard skills expected out of her as a leader. The minutes turned into hours, hours into days, and days into months. Her eagle-eye vision on whom she wanted to only grow stronger by the day.
The coming years saw her being nominated as a Cadet Seargent Major of the NCC Marching Contingent on Rajpath for 4 consecutive years. And being the Ambassador of Cultural ties with southeast Asian Countries. She leads the school as the Head Girl, Editor-in-chief of the school board magazine, and kept her spark for dance alive by learning Kathak for 5 years. She truly realized that your toughest times lead you to your greatest times. Meanwhile, she built some lifelong relationships with friends who truly supported her spirit and compassion to help others rise along with her.
Career
Though she sought admission to one of the best colleges in the country and an opportunity to graduate in her most-prized subjects. She realized that her career interests were way different, or let’s say. She was clueless about what she wanted to do with her life. The 3 years of graduation witnessed her reaching the helm of every curricular activity, from performing myriad dance forms, engaging in dramatics, anchoring national and international events, and winning record-breaking sprints. It also awarded her ‘Rotary Yuva Shakti Samman’ to acknowledge her efforts and achievements at a young age. Little did she know that life would topple soon, leaving her clueless about her dreams. Clearing national exams with the topmost merit wasn’t motivation, as she wanted a field that would engross her talent. And passion to grow.
2 years of a dilemma followed this but also 2 years of rigorous growth in her personal and professional skill sets. We never forget that we become what we think. Thus it is imperative to have a streamlined and a colossus vision of who you want to be in life. Rest will follow. The coming months saw her appearing for national entrance exams with a firm will of finding her path of interest. And the revelation was she got into one of the best media colleges in the country. The struggle ahead was big, but her conviction to grow and raise even bigger. There has been no looking back since then.
However, she never knew that her destiny lay elsewhere, the seeds of which were embedded in her childhood itself. Both her parents have been educationists, and she always shared their compassion of doing her bit for the community, especially students in their formative years. Thus, after serving in the media industry and reaching the helm. She quit it to realize that her soul lies in hand-holding young minds (students). And industry aspirants to achieve their highest potential, individually as well as professionally. Today she is a successful counselor for international students and a soft-skills trainer for students and professionals. She focuses on building strengths in them which primarily include Effective Communication, Personal Awareness and Responsibility, Creative and Critical thinking, Teamwork, and Problem Solving.
Today she has successfully counseled and trained hundreds of students. And professionals by not just making them industry-ready but also igniting their vision for life. And when she sees them confidently marching ahead and achieving milestones. She goes back in her formative years to pay gratitude to her parents. Who made her realize her inherent qualities at such a tender age.
Entrepreneur
Being a woman entrepreneur brings to you its own palate of challenges. Someone has genetically conditioned our societies to look upon us as homemakers with limited capacities. She terms an act of starting on our own as ‘rebellion’ and everything that follows the post. Because that requires sailing against the wind, mentally, socially, and even physically. She would request every woman to think of a life beyond her emotional/mental boundaries, to dream big, make a wish-list against what her realities are. And internalize it daily like a prayer. For even the universe bows down before our intent and WE WILL BE THE GREATEST PROJECTS, WE WILL EVER WORK ON and be thankful for.
